Reveal of the hull of Ventus 33!

Updated: Sep 3, 2019

This post is going to be a short but a monumental one in the life of our yacht. Upon the completion of the construction of the hull, the yacht is turned right-side up for the construction works of the superstructure and the interior works. I wanted to share with you all of the memorable views from this day.

The operation

Before the boat could be turned right-side up, a carriage had to be constructed. This carriage will also serve to store the yacht after it is launched. Below photos demonstrate this stage of works. The hull was taken out from the yard by a mobile crane and was rolled over on its self with out any issues, which have us a first chance of seeing the sturdiness of the construction. While the hull was in the air, it was a first time for us to see the beauty of our Ventus 33. In the midst of our awes and joy, the yacht was lowered on to its temporary home ready for the superstructure works to begin!
